Slow Food South Bay will be starting off the new year with a special
at Country Gourmet in Sunnyvale.
We will dine with rancher, visionary, idealist, activist, Bill Niman of BN Ranch.
Long-time supporter and friend, chef Jimmy Connors serves the high-quality BN Ranch beef and turkey at the Country Gourmet.
THE MENU, by chef Jimmy, is a fabulous 3-course meal, paired with wine, including turkey and beef from BN Ranch, and vegetables from nearby Full Circle Farm.
Full Circle Farm kale and organic chicories with braised BN Ranch turkey, dried cherries, Humboldt Fog goat cheese, blood orange, and Pedro Ximenez Vinaigrette
Burgundy pomegranate braised BN Ranch boneless beef shank, Garbanzo laced creamy polenta, King of Mushrooms’ chef’s mix, Full Circle Farm rainbow chard, Bloomsdale spinach, with watermelon radish and horseradish.
Sticky Toffee Pudding with Pixie mandarin zest, with Meyer lemon Creme Anglaise, and butterscotch.
$80, all inclusive:
~ a 3-course gourmet meal (organic veggies, free-range turkey, grass-fed beef)
~ tax and gratuity
~ a $5 contribution to Slow Food South Bay
