Hoes Down Harvest Fest
The Hoes Down Harvest Festival is dedicated to honoring and promoting the knowledge of agricultural arts and sustainable rural living through inspiration and education. Our goals extend beyond the weekend of fun and education. Every year, for 30 years, the Hoes Down has generated valuable resources for local and statewide organizations working on projects which benefit sustainable agriculture and rural communities. Winter Solstice at Filoli
Honor the allure the shortest day of the year. A ceremonial lighting ceremony, mystical musical entertainment set the stage for this magical evening. The night begins with a glass of sparkling wine and light hors-d’oeuvres included with the ticket. Both the House and Garden will be open for this special night. Decorate the Nature Center at Filoli
Join us in welcoming the holiday season by decorating evergreen garlands outside Filoli’s Nature Center and Red’s Barn. Learn to loop and tie decorative ribbon into a bow – a skill you can then use for your own decor and presents. Hike the 1-mile Estate Trail to the Nature Center and join in the festivities. This is a free activity included with the price of admission.
